Hasan Ünal

Prof. Dr. Hasan Ünal is a Turkish historian, and foreign policy expert, widely recognized for his work on Turkish foreign policy, international relations, and regional geopolitics. His analyses focus particularly on Türkiye’s strategic position, Eurasian politics, the Middle East, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the changing dynamics of the global order.

Ünal has held academic positions at leading universities in Türkiye and has published extensively on diplomatic history, security affairs, and Türkiye’s relations with major powers. Currently, Ünal serves as a professor at Başkent University and is also the Director of the Center for New World Studies.
