Caroline Galactéros

Caroline Galactéros is a French political scientist, geopolitical analyst, author, and strategic consultant, widely recognized for her realist approach to international relations and global power politics. Her work focuses on geopolitics, strategic autonomy, state sovereignty, crisis management, and the changing balance of power in the international system.

Galactéros holds a PhD in political science and has taught strategy, ethics, international relations, and crisis management at institutions including HEC, the École Normale Supérieure, and the École de Guerre in Paris. She has also served as a seminar director at the École de Guerre and as a colonel in the French operational reserve.

She is the founder and president of GEOPRAGMA, a French think tank devoted to realist geopolitical analysis, and directs Planeting, a strategic intelligence consultancy. Through her writings, lectures, and public commentary, Galactéros has become a distinctive voice in European debates on sovereignty, multipolarity, and the future of the global order.
