Thomas Fazi

Thomas Fazi is an Italian-British journalist, writer, translator, and political commentator, widely known for his critical work on European politics, economic governance, sovereignty, and the crisis of liberal democracy. His analyses focus particularly on the European Union, globalization, state power, and the political transformations reshaping Western societies.

Fazi is the author of The Battle for Europe: How an Elite Hijacked a Continent – and How We Can Take It Back and the co-author, with economist Bill Mitchell, of Reclaiming the State: A Progressive Vision of Sovereignty for a Post-Neoliberal World. His articles have appeared in numerous international publications, and he is currently a regular contributor to UnHerd and Compact.
